Worked with Metro for 5 1/2 years...had a few ups and downs, but tried to keep a good relationship with other drivers, da, mechanics and office personnel. It helped me to stay far away from negative people and I had a 'plan' to 'earn' a certain amount over a 10 to 15 yr timespan. I'd be there now if I didn't have important urgent family matters to tend to. I'd like to encourage people who have realistic goals in mind and positive attitudes to push forward and try thinking of yourself as an 'asset' than just another gal or guy on a truck, and Metro can be just what one needs to prosper. God bless our Drivers and families who sacrifice their time and energy to move this nations freight.
All I can say is this.... If you want to run they will run ya'. I've been with them 4months now and my pay is decent. The company has a new pay plan, of at least 1,000 a week. Also they make sure your health is good.
Don't work here if you know what's good for you.
You had no right to throw my items out after 2 days of quitting. Your trucks are unsafe and mechanics are rude. I have over 10 years experience and was treated like an idiot. I'm glad I left and found a better company to work for. I'm calling a lawyer to have my items compensated. Most were brand new and I have all the records.
Good company never had a problem they kept me running and they care about your HOS and they are fair. I had to come off the road for a while for personal reasons
They will run you out of time ,how can you write someone up for not having the time to do the load ,,,and how come you say you have the weekends off and you force people to stay out there, 40 cents a mile you hold that 1000 dollars over peoples head like it something big 14 hour a days 11 hour to drive and trust me i seen it for my self they will try and and work you to the last hour and you will be out of drive time and no where to park for the night ,,,, you send mess no reply poor driver managers as soon as there a problem they point the finger you you you , the driver managers have there driver adv to defend them and your all by your self ,,,, shame on you metropolitan fake azz company , trust me ,your not gonna make no money with this company ,,,,very bad yeah nice truck what good is that dont you want nice things to thats why your driving to make money,,,beware
