Really liked "The Lube" . Very cool, very car oriented atmosphere, 2 Corvettes over booths, 1 is on the wall. Service was friendly but the Waitress was trying to handle too much for one person. Probably not her fault. The brazed beef tacos were well presented in a rack and tasted good. The accompanying black beans were very good . The burger was more than one person could eat and was perfectly prepared. Would come back.
I called in advance at 4:19 p.m. on the Veterans Day to see if they were honoring the veterans meal. I was told by the lady at the front that they were and to come on in. When we got there we were told that the promotion for the Veterans Day dinner was over at 4:00 p.m. and that we would be paying full price for our meal. We were tricked into coming in there because we would have gone Somewhere else that was honoring a real Veterans Day celebration. However I gave it a 2 star because the food really was great probably one of the best cheese steaks I've had in a few months.
The wings are cooked to perfection and have great flavor. But they have been on the small side lately and are expensive.... $15.99 for 13 wings is too much.. The service was subpar as well. I was brought my drink and the wings cane out very shortly after. I never saw my waitress again until I was done everything.
All in all, the other diners didn't seem to have any problems, there were plenty of empty tables, so perhaps this was a one-off for this staff and manager...
Great food and great environment. This is honestly a great place to come to whether you are alone, with a date, or family. They have really good wings, as well as a wing buffet on Tuesday night's with tacos and nachos as well. Also really good funnel cake fries. Big burger selection, big wing selection, good dessert menu. Stop by, in my opinion I have been to Buffalo Wild Wings, and I've been to a couple of these and Quaker Steak and Lube is better, it feels more small town feel even though it's not a small town restaurant. Good service and management. Check it out
First note that the manager commped our family's meal. We have been to other locations while traveling and always enjoyed our experiences. Here is why I can't give a better rating: 1. appetizer came, but no appetizer plates to share it so we traded the serving plate back and forth 2. one meal was served and fully finished before the others came out 3.when the other entrees were served, we then had to wait for silverware to be cleaned 4.our waitress, Kate, although apologetic at the end, never really checked on us.
The manager did come and speak to us, apologized, and took care of our bill. The food was so-so when it finally arrived, however, the steak was supposed to be medium well and was actually cooked medium rare, our son ate it anyway, but we did mention it to the waitress before we left.
