The reviews on here are very odd and I would like to give the honest truth about Keystone. Before I enrolled I read these comments below & thought maybe I was making a mistake, but I wasn't. These bad reviews are very misleading and won't get you anywhere. I have just graduated from Keystone & couldn't have had a better more supportive experience. The teachers are wonderful, the courses are great & I just got into 5 of the top 1% universities in the world. Trust me, Keystone is worth it & won't put you in debt like many other online schools of the same level.
This school was great for when I did credit recovery so much help and the courses were clear and made sense. After leaving my brick and mortar high school I transferred here so I could finish my sophomore year but I feel like the courses got so unclear and the the help was limited. Some of the teachers are rude and don't tell me what I can work on or don't send me things when needed.
Their are way too many lessons and their way too long. My son is very confused
Such an incredible school. They offer a perfect balance of "simpler" classes and extremely challenging (AP, Honor) courses so you don't have to do simple courses, but the courses are also not too difficult as well. I was able to take AP English Courses and finish with As, whereas in my previous public school I was failing all my classes. The perfect set-up for students who do not thrive in a normal classroom, as they provide both print courses and online courses. I also met by best friend through Keystone, which was one of my favorite things about it. At the end of the day, as it is primarily yourself who is reading and learning the material and completing the assignments, you truly feel accomplished in knowing that you've "taught yourself" and you've accomplished so much as an individual.
