I've been here a few times and the place has a lot of items however have your wits about you. I bought a DVD which wasn't a rip off but watch it if you're buying jewelry collectible coins watch's etc. It's like any antique or pawn shop and owner will try to aggressively sell you more even if bought something kinda pricey.
This place doesn't even deserve one star. I called them on the phone to ask the owner a question about some electronics I wanted to sell. He was very rude on the phone. Well I stopped in anyway. Wasn't greeted at all when I entered . I had a tablet in like new condition and the newest Amazon kindle I wanted to sell to his shop and he said he would only buy them from me if I brought in gold jewelry and sold them to him as well. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Then he goes on to complain about his shop business to me and how he's not selling anything and he didn't make a cent that day and people only want to sell him stuff. Like dude I don't know why you would speak to a customer about that. It ain't my business. Anyway if you want a business tip from me why don't you start treating your customers with more respect and stop being a cockroach. Cheers
There's some interesting items there although I didn't check out the furniture. I don't know if I'd go back the owner's too pushy and I would verse myself a bit more on jewelry and watches etc. before ever considering buying anything there again.
DO NOT BUY OR SELL TO ARCUS BROTHERS. STEVE THE OWNER BEATS PEOPLE ON PRICES. I BROUGHT MY LAPTOP TO HIS STORE TO SEE IF IT COULD BE FIXED IF NOT I WOULD SELL IT. WELL HE HAD HIS SON "FIX" IT BY PUTTING A FAKE WINDOWS UPDATE ON MY COMPUTER. I TOOK IT HOME AND WAS UNABLE TO ACTIVATE THE WINDOWS SOFTWARE BECAUSE IT WAS MISSING A PASSCODE KEY. WHEN I ASKED STEVE FOR THE CODE HE TRIED TO TELL ME IT WAS ON THERE. I BROUGHT MY LAPTOP IN TODAY AFTER BUYING A NEW ONE, AND ASKED HIM TO BUY IT FOR $60 MIND YOU HIM AND HIS SON GOT ME FOR 30 DOLLARS FOR "FIXING" IT. HE SAID MY COMPUTER WASN'T EVEN WORTH 60 DOLLARS. HE IS A FRAUD AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF HIS CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY WOMEN.! DO NOT BUY HIS DEVICES THEY DO NOT PUR LICENSED SOFTWARE ON THE COMPUTERS AND THE PHONES ARE NOT UNLOCKED.
I have been going to Arcus for years and had never thought I would see the day that it went from a menagerie of clustered mess to an actual professional looking establishment... The atmosphere has seriously changed and the presentation has improved tremendously... Good Job Steve and Josh...
Not a very good place to go. Steve gives me the creeps when I walked in with my fiancé and his brother. I refuse to do any business with the man because he has nothing in his so called "shop" of interest. Says he will work with you but ignores you when you ask for him to buy something back that he sold for way over priced. He over price everything and adds on more money on top of it. But you can get items online for new at a much cheaper price. I wouldn't suggest for anyone to go shopping in this so called "pawn" shop. He acts weird when your in the shop. If you try to leave he tries to bully you. Very uncomfortable environment for anyone. He thinks he knows a lot but you can look up a lot of the stuff online for prices and he throws a fit when you look up items in his shop and refuse to pay what he wants you to pay him. He is a big bully when he doesn't get his way. I much rather think this place should be shut down for good because he not a very nice/good business man. Lies when he says he buys anything and everything. He lies so bad that it his breath stinks.
