First time in Smitty's, and the last. Ordered a salad with veggies, got a pile of chicken on top, wrong cheese and the mushrooms were not even close to fresh. If they are willing to put nasty mushrooms on a salad what else is "acceptable". Also had fries, apparently unsalted is their gig, weird. Chicken cheese steak was nothing to write home about. Waited more than 30minutes for our take out order. The young lady that took our order was very polite. #first&last
This was my third visit here and first time during the dinner hours on a Sat., it was also homecoming weekend. Was a bit disappointed. We ordered in and food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. Cheesesteak conbo with house cheese and original Mac and cheese. Food wasn't as hot as it could have been. Mac and cheese tastes good but was very runny. The fries are fresh cut but not hot. Most of their business appears to be takeout and delivery but don't think it should slow down the wait time in the restaurant, especially when we arrived we were the only customers eating in. I look forward to coming back at lunch time to give them another try and also for breakfast when they start serving later this month.
Great conversation with owner.He is a Chef a business owner who's struggling wants to do more to be able to hire more employees.He gathered a Breakfast menu I ate there it was good.

The staff is very personable always makes for a great experience. It's got a simple menu but there are some oddities like the polish nachos with are AMAIZINGLY DELICIOUS. though it's a mostly simple menu the food is good quality. The portions are well worth the $ as one of the cheaper places to fill up. And presentation is on point! This is a perfect place to grab some grub for the college town that seems to be awake n hungry after 2am. And yet a nice quiet place to grab some food for students family's of friends to get together and have lunch.
